On the 14th of September 2025 , Mamelodi Sundowns claimed a 3–0 victory over Magesi FC in a Betway Premiership clash at Lucas Moripe Stadium, Pretoria. The win, however, was spoiled by an injury to 36-year-old Themba Zwane, who was substituted before the final whistle.
