Yanga Mtyide Shifting from Cooperate to Entrepreneurship

Having a clear vision of what you want for the future requires you to disregard all the outside noise and focus on the vision. This is the embodiment of what Yanga Mtyide did when he left the comfort of his job to start His Branding Company with his sister, known as Iyanzi Branding Café which later gave birth to Vision Xhosa.

Yanga Mtyide obtained his Cooperate finance investment and Management Degree at the University of Witwatersrand. He worked for companies like Nedbank and Discovery after a clear thorough self-introspection he decided to leave the cooperate word and venture into business hence the Birth of Iyanzi Branding Café and Vision Xhosa.

Iyanzi Branding Café:  Is a branding company Based in Bizana Town: Shop 17 Bam Centre (Opp KFC) that Brands things like, Pens-T-shirts, Mugs, Caps billboards anything that requires branding Iyanzi Branding café is the branding company for you. They use the state-of-the-art embroidery machines.

Vision Xhosa: Focuses on Agriculture and a bit of retail, Vision Xhosa plants about ten hectors of yellow maize with the assistance from Alfre Nzo municipality they also have Commercial pigs. They have Agro-processing equipment which helps with the processing of maize for the commercial pigs.  The main object for Vision Xhosa is to take up the entire supply chain, which will help the business stop outsourcing mechanisation. Iyanzi says that, they are in the process of establishing a Tshisanyama meaning they will take the commercial pigs to Greenland’s Abattoir – Kokstad then bring the pigs back to the Tshisanyama.

Vision Xhosa has received backing from stakeholders like ANDA, NYDA & SEDA.

Yanga Iyanzi Mtyide says, they are looking for an exterior market from the local market, they are considering into expanding the product so that it can reach a broader market. The biggest challenge so far for Vision Xhosa is machinery that could drive the business forward and expand it to its full potential.

Vision Xhosa also helps individuals with drafting business plans.
