The event, led by Council Speaker Councillor Z. Mhlwazi, brought together churches, traditional leadership, SAPS, and various government departments.

Official Response
Representing the South African Police Service (SAPS), Mr. Arnold Freemantle revealed the human side of law enforcement.
“We are here not only as police officers but as members of this community. I consider myself one of you, and I want to be part of the solution in making Mgondini a better place,” said Freemantle.
Councillor Msindo also expressed appreciation for the turnout and commitment shown by all involved
