United Democratic Movement (UDM) President Bantu Holomisa unveiled the party’s Ten Point Plan for the Eastern Cape, promising to restore the province to its former glory. The plan addresses key issues such as infrastructure development, tourism, violent crime, traditional leaders, waste management, agriculture, education, and healthcare.
Holomisa emphasized the need for a Government of Provincial Unity, prioritizing skills and qualifications over cadre deployment. He also announced plans to host an Eastern Cape Development Forum to bring together stakeholders and create a development program for the province.
The UDM leader highlighted the party’s commitment to addressing corruption, improving service delivery, and promoting economic growth. He emphasized the importance of supporting small farmers, promoting tourism, and creating jobs.
