The third day of the Eastern Cape TVET Month Roadshow saw teams of communicators and marketers from eight TVET Colleges visiting schools in Steytlerville and Willowmore on Wednesday, 20 August 2025.

Learners at Carel du Toit Centre in Steytlerville and Willowmore Secondary School were introduced to the wide range of opportunities available at TVET Colleges. The visits aimed to encourage young people to consider vocational training as a first choice for their future studies, while also creating awareness around the opening of applications for the 2026 academic year.

Through interactive sessions, college representatives shared details about various study fields, bursary options, and career pathways that come with vocational education. Learners were urged to start preparing early and to apply on time when admissions open.

The Eastern Cape TVET Month Roadshow continues to make an impact across the province, ensuring that schools in different communities are reached with vital information. With the theme of “Skilling the Nation”, the campaign focuses on positioning TVET Colleges as a key driver of opportunity, skills development, and change.
