If the Easter Bunny wants a carrot this year, he will know to hop on over to Wild Coast Sun Resort, where the multiple celebrations will be sure to put a spring in your step.
With its year-round temperate weather, unspoilt beaches, challenging 18-hole golf course, casino, spa and water park, Wild Coast Sun in Port Edward remains a perennial favourite in the Sun International stable.
The action kicks off on Friday April 7 when the biggest Easter egg will be on display in the hotel foyer for the weekend. Once the weekend is over, it will be donated to the children of the Umz’uvukile Special School Centre, which looks after children with special needs in Mbizana in the Eastern Cape.
Over the course of the weekend, kids will enjoy interacting with several cartoon characters including the Easter bunny, watching stilt walkers and magic tricks while Cliffy the Clown makes balloon animals. The casino floor, Lagoon Bar and Chico’s Restaurant will have live entertainment at various times during the afternoons and evenings.
A delicious buffet dinner will be served at Chico’s on Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights, with a traditional Easter Sunday lunch following.
The beachfront Resort is constantly upgrading to ensure they are a family destination of excellence and has seen multi-millions spent on facility upgrades in recent years.
Bookings for the perennially-popular Easter weekend are pouring in and we look forward to showing our guests Wild Coast Sun in all its splendour. – said Resort General Manager, Peter Tshidi.
Recently, Wild Coast Sun was honoured in the 14th annual Luxury Lifestyle Awards category as the ‘Best Luxury Beach Resort in South Africa’.
