As Banyana Banyana intensifies preparations for the upcoming CAF WAFCON, South African Football Association (SAFA) director Kneka Mogolola emphasized that team unity will be key to their success.
Speaking ahead of the squad’s departure for Morocco, Mogolola praised the depth of talent and cohesion among the players. “It’s not just about star names,” she said, “but how well the team works together under pressure. If we maintain that unity, we can achieve anything.”
The focus on collective strength comes as the squad undergoes rigorous training sessions at their pre-tournament camp. Notably, seasoned forward Jermaine Seoposenwe has returned to the squad, bringing much-needed experience to guide the rising talents.
SAFA’s announcement underlines the importance of harmony and coordination on and off the pitch, as the team aims to defend its title and make a mark in the African tournament.
Kick-off for WAFCON is fast approaching, and with teamwork high on the agenda, Banyana Banyana look confident and well-equipped.
