Sinenkani New Coach

Sinenkani FC has announced a major reshuffle in its technical team, parting ways with head coach Mr. Pikolomzi “Coach Ree” Noqazo by mutual agreement. The club confirmed that the decision follows internal reviews aimed at improving team performance and reigniting its promotion ambitions.

What Happened

In a statement, Sinenkani FC management said it held a meeting to evaluate the club’s performance and agreed that a new direction was needed to achieve its long-term goals. The outcome was a reconfiguration of the technical team, effective immediately.

The club named Mr. Vumani Mavundla as the new head coach, assisted by Mr. Mboniseni “Mngoma” Mbandlwa, a former Sinenkani player known for his leadership on and off the field. Mbuso Jili will serve as the new goalkeeper coach.

Management emphasized that the move forms part of a broader strategy to strengthen the team’s structure and deliver on its vision of reaching what it calls “the promised land.”

Official Statement

Sinenkani FC expressed gratitude to outgoing coach Noqazo, praising his dedication and commitment to the team’s journey.

“Coach Ree has given the Sinenkani family everything, and we appreciate his role in building the team. He has been with us through our ups and downs and has remained fully committed,” the club said.
“We release him with heavy hearts, but we believe it would be unfair to keep him as head coach at this stage. We wish him success in his future endeavours.”

The club assured supporters that other technical staff members will remain in place and undergo assessment as part of the ongoing restructuring.

Community Reaction

Fans have reacted with a mix of sadness and optimism, recognizing Coach Ree’s impact while welcoming new leadership. Supporters are hopeful that Coach Mavundla’s appointment will bring fresh energy and tactical balance to the squad, especially after recent challenges on the field.

“We urge our supporters to be patient and trust that we have the best interests of the team in everything we do,” the club said in closing.
