Sinenkani FC Chairman Commends Team and Supporters Amid Season's Challenges

In an impassioned message, Mr. Nathi Nqoko, Chairman of Sinenkani FC, expressed his profound gratitude to the club’s players and technical team for their exceptional performance throughout the season. Despite facing significant obstacles, Sinenkani FC finished with an impressive record of 17 games, 14 wins, 2 draws, and only 1 loss in the ABC Motsepe League.

Mr. Nqoko highlighted the team’s dedication, hard work, and commitment, attributing their success to these qualities. “We are very grateful to have such a dedicated, hardworking, and committed team. The record has shown their excellence, and we could not have asked for a better team,” he stated.

This season, according to Mr. Nqoko, has been one of the most eventful in the club’s history. Sinenkani FC not only gained numerous friends and inspired many but also exposed irregularities within the football system. “We worked stubbornly and defeated all the odds, proving that we were correct and vindicated against efforts to frustrate us,” he noted.

The chairman also addressed the recent decider game, where the team faced significant disadvantages. He criticized the scheduling that forced the team to travel 900 kilometers after a Saturday game to play against a well-rested opponent. The match, which should have been held at a neutral venue, was played on the opponent’s home ground without the presence of Provincial SAFA officials, who were seen supporting the opposing team.

“Against all odds, our boys fought a very good fight on the field, and we are satisfied with their performance considering the circumstances,” Mr. Nqoko remarked.

He extended heartfelt thanks to the supporters, known as the “12th player,” for their unwavering support throughout the season. “We wish to thank our supporters and the Stubborn Nation for their support in stadiums, on social media, and during our long, unfair disciplinary processes and court cases,” he said.

In conclusion, Mr. Nqoko emphasized the club’s resolve to continue fighting for justice and fairness in football. While acknowledging the setback in reaching the national playoffs, he affirmed the club’s determination to pursue their ultimate goal. “We lost the battle to National Playoffs this season, but the war is far from over. Our destination is The Promised Land, and we will not stop fighting until we get there,” he vowed.
