- Older Persons Grant: Wednesday, 2 April 2025
- Disability Grant: Thursday, 3 April 2025

In addition to the revised payment dates, SASSA has confirmed increases in grant amounts effective from April 2025:
- Old Age (60-74 years) and Disability Grants: Increase by R130 to R2,315.
- Old Age (75+ years) Grant: Increase by R135 to R2,335.
- War Veterans Grant: Increase by R130 to R2,315.
- Care Dependency Grant: Increase by R130 to R2,315.
- Child Support Grant: Increase by R30 to R560.
- Foster Care Grant: Increase by R70 to R1,250.
Beneficiaries are reminded to collect their grants promptly on the designated dates to avoid any delays. Payments can be accessed through various channels, including selected supermarkets such as Pick n Pay, Boxer, Usave merchants, Checkers, and Shoprite. Options include using the SASSA card, CashSend, or direct bank transfers.
In related news, four women have been convicted of defrauding SASSA by collecting child support grants for non-existent children since 2012. They were sentenced to five-year suspended prison terms and ordered to repay the misappropriated funds, totaling over R60,000.
