Police have issued an urgent appeal for help in finding 19-year-old Mihle Vimbani, who disappeared on 13 November 2025. She was last seen by her family while travelling from Durban to Mthatha to collect her driver’s licence. Her mother received a WhatsApp photo confirming she had collected the licence, but Mihle never returned to Durban.
What Happened
According to SAPS, Mihle travelled from Durban to Mthatha to finalise her licence collection at the Traffic Department. She sent her mother a message showing the licence, and that communication became the last contact she made with her family. Her family expected her back in Durban the same day, yet she never arrived.
One relative said, “We just want Mihle home. Anyone who has information must please come forward.”

SAPS encouraged anyone with information to make contact immediately, saying community assistance remains critical.
