Mr Siya Quzu, the communications officer of Bizana Pondo Chiefs has confirmed that all three board members of Pondo are from Bizana that includes Mr Nkosinathi Mqokiyana who is the chairman. Mr Quzu said they only left their home due to the lack of necessary facilities he continued “In our last engagement with the municipality we were told that they are working on fixing one of the grounds to meet the standards of the NFD and only then we will come home”

Things have not been really easy for the Hunters since their arrival in the National First Division (NFD), The club had to make some drastic changes to meet the stand of the gladafrica league. plus minus five players were released along with the coach Mr Tsepo Motsoeneng. Mr Julius Dube appointed as new head coach on the 22nd of February 2021. A number of experienced players have been signed, former Supersport United, Chippa United and Tshakhuma tsha dzivhandila Football club Masibusane Zongo during this dry period. With the hope that they will make a different this includes former Kaizer Chiefs Players Sandile Zuke a defensive midfielder who parted ways with Uthongathi FC in November 2020 and few other players. They all signed a four months contract with an option to renew staring from March to the 30th of June 2021

The Hunters are currently seating at number 16 of the Gladafrica log after loosing against Sekhukhune United FC(1-0).
