Parliament Rebukes RAF Board Over Management Suspension

The Road Accident Fund (RAF) will host a comprehensive trauma care symposium on Thursday, September 19, 2024, at the Premier Hotel O.R. Tambo, to improve holistic trauma recovery outcomes for road crash survivors.

The conference, themed “Holistic trauma recovery ensures better outcomes,” aims to share knowledge and best practices in trauma management, focusing on clinical practices, psychological effects, and efficiency improvements.

According to Collins Letsoalo, RAF Chief Executive Officer, “Road accidents cause deep suffering, and through this symposium, we aim to advance overall trauma care for survivors and their loved ones, reducing risks of death and complications.”

The event follows last year’s successful conference on Case Management and will bring together experts in emergency medicine, nursing, surgery, rehabilitation, and mental health, as well as trauma survivors and their families.
