The Flagstaff-born entrepreneur shares that being an entrepreneur was the last thing on his mind he imagined himself as a lecturer or something along those lines as he loves transferring skills.
“My business is not very much inspiration-driven, more than passion-driven. It is what I studied coupled with 11 years of Experience in the Design and implementation process then when I could not learn anything new, I had to choose between furthering my studies,” he explains.
In maintaining relationships with clients his mentor told him to Stop Chasing Clients, and Chase Relationships. When asked what it has been like to source funds to run such an expensive business he said:
I consider myself lucky because I already know that I specialize In Ground Water Development as a Technician Who worked for the company I worked for in East London. I was already doing side hustles (Freelance Jobs). My experience and the work I had done spoke volumes. So when I went Independent most clients received it very well and were willing to use me at all times. I can not lie the transition was very smooth in all spheres. I had a great deal of clients already.
“I am everything I am now because of My Mentor and those sleepless nights I got from my 11 years at a consulting firm. Making sure that I complete my work and that the quality is good are the basics I learned there. The trade I am in is what I used to do at work but at a Consulting Level Now I put it to life. I always say AGES is now My biggest Client They always have been,” he concludes.
