The Road Accident Fund (RAF) has suspended four senior executives including the Acting Chief Executive Officer, Chief Financial Officer, Chief Governance Officer, and Head in the Office of the CEO on precautionary suspension with immediate effect.
The announcement was made by the RAF Board on 7 November 2025, following governance and administrative concerns within the organisation.
What Happened
According to the official statement, the decision was taken to allow an independent and unhindered investigation into governance and administrative matters at the Fund.
The Board stated that these precautionary measures do not imply any finding of wrongdoing, but are meant to protect the integrity and transparency of the ongoing investigation.
The RAF Board noted that this action demonstrates its commitment to accountability and its determination to uphold the highest ethical standards in managing public funds.

The Fund confirmed that interim arrangements have been made to ensure business continuity and uninterrupted service to the public.
“These measures are intended to safeguard public trust and ensure ethical conduct in the management of public funds,” the Board said.
The RAF further reaffirmed its commitment to sound corporate governance, accountability, and ethical operations across all its departments.
It also stated that no further comment will be made while the investigation continues, and updates will be communicated in accordance with due process.
