Princess Stella Sigcau II will be among the outstanding women honoured at the upcoming Women of Impact Awards, hosted by the Women Navigating the Future Network on 29 August 2025 at the Pretoria Ridge Conference Centre.
The award recognises her exceptional commitment, influence, and dedication to making a difference in the lives of others through empowerment, upliftment, and community leadership. Established in 2010, the Women of Impact Awards celebrate trailblazing women — leaders, professionals, and community champions — whose work inspires change and fosters progress.

Princess Sigcau II, of the Mpondo Kingdom, is the Founder and Honorary President of the South African Royal Princesses Network. She is also the driving force behind the Khuthaza Ukufunda Initiative and the Lwandlolubomvu Rural Development Program, which has facilitated opportunities such as sending students from the Mpondo Kingdom to Switzerland for cultural exchange.
A seasoned diplomat, she has represented South Africa in Thailand, the Republic of Congo, Botswana, and currently serves in Hong Kong, China. Beyond her diplomatic career, she is a committed philanthropist and GBV activist, with a strong focus on women’s and youth empowerment. She is also a cultural advocate, co-founding the Mpondo Culture and Heritage Festival and founding the Mpondo Reed Dance, promoting unity within South Africa’s diverse cultural landscape.
