In a key appointment, Ms. Mmamoloko Tryphosa Kubayi has transitioned from her role as Minister of Human Settlements to become the new Minister of Justice and Constitutional Development. Her extensive experience in human settlements is expected to bring a fresh perspective to the justice portfolio.
Meanwhile, Ms. Thembi Nkadimeng, who previously headed the Justice department, has taken over as Minister of Human Settlements. Her leadership is anticipated to be pivotal in addressing the pressing housing challenges faced by many South Africans.
Adding to the restructuring, Ms. Phumzile Mgcina has been appointed as the Deputy Minister of Mineral and Petroleum Resources, moving from her previous position as Deputy Minister of Labour and Employment.
