The meeting brought together municipal leadership, key stakeholders, and officials to review performance, assess service delivery gaps, and outline the municipality’s priorities for the next five years.

The session, chaired by Portfolio Head councilor. F. Mafaka, focused on strengthening the department’s long-term plans. Presentations covered service delivery updates, infrastructure planning, SPU performance, and a full SWOT analysis. Officials also tabled a five-year project plan aimed at accelerating development across the municipality.
The gathering further opened the floor for inputs, deputations, and constructive discussions on how to respond to pressing community needs.
Official Response
Cllr. Mafaka said the review process was essential for accountability and future planning.
“We must constantly refine how we serve our people,” he said. “Today’s resolutions give us a clear direction and a renewed commitment to deliver faster and better.”
Officials also noted that the MEC’s comments on service delivery would guide improvements in several focus areas.
