Hadebe, who was nominated for an award, spoke about her journey, her plans for using the platform to make a difference, and her message to young girls struggling with self-image and poverty.

Hadebe’s work focuses on motivating young girls to make informed subject choices from Grade 9, with the aim of empowering them to create better futures for themselves. She plans to utilize the award platform to open doors and implement her plans to assist schools in the Eastern Cape with subject choice drives.

When asked about her message to young girls struggling with self-image and poverty, Hadebe emphasized the importance of positive self-talk and perseverance.

“The voice inside plays a huge role in how you perceive and carry yourself, always feed that voice with positive thoughts and learn to remove bad vibes around you,” she advised.

Hadebe also had a message for local politicians, urging them to remember to check in with their communities regularly and address their needs. She expressed her willingness to work with organizations in her hometown to change lives and make a positive impact.
