Police in Bityi have launched a manhunt following the brutal killing of a 28-year-old female security guard near Xhwili Clinic on Sunday night, 2 November 2025. Her 48-year-old colleague survived the attack but remains in a critical yet stable condition in hospital.
What Happened
According to police, the two female security guards were on duty at the clinic when they were abducted from the duty room around 23:50. They were later found behind the clinic in an open field. The younger woman had been shot twice in the head and stripped naked, while her colleague was rushed to hospital after being found alive at the scene.

Police confirmed that cases of murder, attempted murder, and rape have been opened at Bityi Police Station. Investigators are appealing to anyone with information that could help trace the suspects.
