A 31-year-old taxi driver was arrested on Tuesday night, 30 September 2025, after an off-duty police officer spotted him with a firearm during an altercation in Hankey, Eastern Cape. The man was apprehended in Humansdorp following a swift vehicle pursuit by South African Police Service (SAPS).
