The O.R. Tambo District Municipality, led by Council Speaker Nonkoliso Ngqongwa, visited Mpheko in Ward 14 under the King Sabata Dalindyebo Municipality on 10 November. The outreach aimed to bring services closer to residents and engage them on local development priorities.

“Our goal is to listen, respond, and act on community needs. Working together with residents helps us build stronger, more accountable local governance,” said Councilor. Ngqongwa during the session.
The discussions covered access to water, road maintenance, and youth development opportunities, all key priorities in the district’s 2025 service plan.
