The O.R. Tambo District-Wide Infrastructure Forum (DWIF) has reaffirmed its commitment to turning plans into visible progress, with a focus on accountability, coordination, and faster service delivery for communities.

Led by the Provincial Municipal Infrastructure & Service Delivery (MISD) unit from COGTA Eastern Cape, the meeting brought together Executive Mayors, Mayors, MMCs, municipal technical teams, and representatives from key sector departments including DEDEAT and DFFE.

The forum reviewed progress on resolutions from previous meetings, tracking Service Delivery and Budget Implementation Plan (SDBIP) targets in line with the Back-to-Basics Programme (B2B-PMISD). Municipal performance was assessed to ensure that infrastructure spending translates into real improvements for residents.
