The elderly people in the community have a greater and greater burden at the beginning of the year…we are a municipality, and we will take the burden off their shoulders.

One of the beneficiaries, Mama Mchunu from Seaview ward 23, shared her joy and gratitude, stating,

I’m just here to take the food that the Municipality is giving me…I’m going to sleep and eat today without any worries.” Her heartfelt appreciation exemplifies the impact of such initiatives on the lives of elderly residents.
