In a heartwarming and inspirational journey, Melisa Nontshe, a talented and determined young teen from the Eastern Cape, has risen to national fame after being crowned Teen Universe Petite South Africa. This remarkable achievement is a testament to Melisa’s hard work, dedication, and the unwavering support of her loved ones.
Melisa’s journey to the top began at Oliver Tambo Technical High School, where she auditioned for Miss Bizana High School. This initial step marked the starting point of an incredible adventure that would take her to new heights. With each passing day, Melisa’s passion, confidence, and talent continued to grow, ultimately leading her to become a national titleholder.
Throughout her journey, Melisa has been surrounded by a supportive network of family, friends, and mentors. She extends her deepest gratitude to Yozi GM Modeling Academy, Miss High Schools South Africa, and her municipality, Winnie Madikizela-Mandela Local Municipality, for believing in her and providing her with the necessary guidance and resources.
Melisa’s coaches, Thembelihle Qhina and Thulani Ndzotyana, have played a pivotal role in her transformation, helping her to unlock her full potential and develop the skills necessary to succeed in the competitive world of pageantry.
In addition to her coaches, Melisa’s teachers at Oliver Tambo Technical High School have been instrumental in her success. She thanks Mamthie Mhlana Somi and Matankiso Lebetsa for their unwavering support and encouragement, which has gone beyond the classroom and helped shape her into the confident and determined individual she is today.
Melisa’s story serves as a powerful reminder that with determination, hard work, and the right support system, anything is possible. As she embarks on this new chapter in her life, Melisa is sure to inspire countless young people across South Africa and beyond, showing them that their dreams are within reach, no matter how impossible they may seem.

A journey started at Oliver Tambo Tech High Where I auditioned for Miss Bizana High school and now has led to a National title holder.

Thanking one of her mentors she said,
