KwaZulu-Natal MEC for Transport and Human Settlements, Siboniso Duma, has called on all road users to strictly adhere to road safety regulations during the Easter weekend. Speaking during the Easter Road Safety Campaign held at the Old Port Shepstone Bus Rank, the MEC emphasised that responsible behaviour on the roads can save lives.
Duma’s message comes as thousands of holidaymakers travel across the province for the long weekend. He urged motorists, passengers, and pedestrians alike to exercise caution and follow all traffic rules to “stay and arrive alive.” The campaign forms part of ongoing provincial efforts to reduce road fatalities and promote safer transport practices during peak travel periods.
