Eastern Cape Twizza netball champions Matat NC on Friday left the region to represent the province on the national level in Polokwane. These heroes have shown nothing but the eagerness to compete against all province’s champions this coming weekend. Alfred Nzo netball chairperson Nondumiso Quvane Magini has voiced out her concerns since two of their starlets are not permitted to participate in this competition.
“I am worried about these kids because most of them are still young to compete to such competitive competition level but I trust their talent” said Quvane Magini
Matat NC were sitting on number 4 last year and this year the Eastern Cape champions are gunning for the national champion sit. Matat NC coach Prisca Kanetsi has a confidence despite challenges they are facing going to the national games.
You know, we have lot of challenges like transport, food and accommodation but even so we are ready to fight and compete bet God will be by our side. – said Kanetsi
Games commenced from 23 September till 25 September in Polokwane.
