As the Masimanyane Association gears up for Fixture Week 11 of the 2023/2024 season, Ayanda Manyeku, the assistant chairperson, emphasizes the need for essential resources to bolster the league’s vitality. Speaking under the leadership of Mr. Ganyile, Manyeku highlights the shortage of soccer balls, kits, and training equipment, stressing their crucial role in player development. Moreover, he notes the urgency of replacing outdated wooden goal post poles.
Speaking on behalf of Winnie Madikizela Mandela Local Football Association (LFA), Mr. George Gusha says they urge players to participate in professional football like how Masimanyane Association to boost chances of players playing in big leagues. As the LFA our job is to coordinate but the associations are responsible for the development as we all know that without the clubs there is no football.
So, everything we get we give to associations and they coordinate with clubs. We have trained referees and recently trained coaches for CAF D-License. – he emphasized.
