The Economic Freedom Fighters leader Julius Malema has expressed his disappointment to the newly elected top leadership in Eastern Cape.
The EFF held its third Eastern Cape Provincial People’s Assembly at Absa Stadium in East London from the 4th till Sunday the 6 of November, Malema addressed the party’s delegates about how he is unimpressed because they voted for an all male provincial top five leadership. He said I’m South Africa there no solution if women are not the center of the development.
As delegates of Eastern Cape you have failed your task; our mission is to put women at the center in every that we do, Julius Malema.
Malema also slammed women who are leaders and delegates of the party, “What type of leaders and delegates are you, you come to a conference and you do not elect even a single woman to be one the top five of the EFF?”
Malema emphasized that the EFF has fundamental rules that women needed in its struggle. He said they cannot be proud about the outcomes of the conference because women are equal to men, and that he cares about gender exclusions.
Malema added, “The delegates has a chance to elect more women as additional members, therefore 60(women) 40(men) must be applied to clean up the mess made in the top five. We cannot celebrate such mediocrity.”
