Recently, Minister Nyhontso concluded his Back to School campaign at Meje Primary School, located in the Winnie Madikizela Mandela Local Municipality. The campaign, facilitated in collaboration with the Alfred Nzo District Municipality and Winnie Madikizela-Mandela Local Municipality, aimed to bridge the gap in access to quality education and empower young minds.
During the event, Minister Nyhontso distributed essential educational tools, school bags, and shoes to 100 learners, sparking joy and appreciation among the students and faculty. Mr. Gqamane, the Principal of Meje Primary School, expressed his gratitude, stating, “We are overwhelmed with joy and appreciation for this incredible gesture. These educational tools and school shoes will not only enhance our learners’ academic experience but also boost their confidence and motivation to succeed.”
Minister Nyhontso emphasized the importance of empowering young learners, saying, “Let’s continue to unlock the potential of our young learners and empower them to become the leaders, innovators, and change-makers of tomorrow.”
The Minister was accompanied by Executive Mayor of ANDM Hon. Cllr V Mhlelembana and Winnie Madikizela Mandela Mayor Hon. Mafumbatha, demonstrating a united effort to support education in the region.
