In line with his 40th birthday celebration on the 11th of December, Leonard Anele Ncumbese handed over food groceries to about 30 families from 4 different villages under ward 31 at the Buffalo City Metropolitan Municipality.

Ncumbese was born on the 11th of December 1982 at Lusikisiki under Ingquza Hill local Municipality but is now currently residing ku Gompo. He is a community builder and an activist with the passion of helping those in need to better the society.

“I love giving back to the community. At first, I thought I could afford buying for 20 families but ended up buying full set of groceries for about 30 needy families. My plan is to double the number of beneficiaries next year”, said Leonard Anele Ncumbese.

One of the community members Bishop Sindiswa Ngcongo for the Apostolic Faith Mission church expressed gratitude, stating that such acts of goodwill are infrequent in their villages.

‘I am still speechless; I didn’t know what we were going to have for Christmas because I am unemployed living with two children. I thank Mr Ncumbese for what he did for me and my family,”said Ntombizodumo Zepe one of the beneficiaries from Airport Park.

All those who are willing to partner with Mr L.A Ncumbese in this initiative are more than welcome.
