Under the guidance of Bukiwe Ntom, a qualified and accredited trainer with Cath SETA and Wits Business School, specializing in Entrepreneurship and New Venture Creation, as well as a qualification in Hospitality from Cape Peninsula University, Kulture Bakery and Eatery offers a unique culinary experience, distinct from local customary meals.

The municipality has played a pivotal role in the eatery’s success, providing essential equipment such as proofers, freezers, fridges, ovens, mixers, and wooden furniture. Bukiwe Ntom expressed her gratitude, stating,

All these things have assisted us in the capacity of the business.

Cllr Xoliswa Jona, the portfolio head of the LED office, debunked misconceptions, noting that their support extends beyond farming businesses to various small enterprises. She emphasized the municipality’s duty to nurture small businesses, enabling them to compete with larger counterparts and ensuring sustainability.
