IFP Supporters Injured in Gingindlovu Bus Crash on Route to Manifesto Launch

Emergency services rushed to the scene of a devastating bus crash on the N2 near Gingindlovu, where three buses carrying IFP supporters collided.

The supporters, en-route to the party’s election manifesto launch at Durban’s Moses Mabhida Stadium, faced a tragic turn of events as the crash left eight seriously injured and one critically.

Samantha Meyerick, spokesperson for IPSS Medical Rescue, confirmed the severity of the incident, stating that multiple medical teams were deployed to treat the injured. The crash has caused severe disruptions to traffic on the N2 southbound.

Investigations into the cause of the accident are ongoing as authorities work to ensure the safety of all affected parties.
