He noted that inputs from the October outreach sessions formed the basis of this week’s discussions, ensuring every ward’s concerns are captured before the draft IDP is finalised.

Mayor Stuurman said the forum helps the municipality work closely with residents and partners. “The IDP is a shared roadmap. We gather here to improve service delivery and align our priorities with the needs raised by our communities,” he said.
Officials also confirmed that the session allows departments to monitor ongoing projects and adjust plans where necessary, especially in areas facing delays or resource gaps.
