The Department of Sport, Arts and Culture (DSAC) calls on all the cultural and creative industry practitioners to submit their applications for the Mzansi Golden Economy open call which opened on Tuesday the 11th of October 2022 and will close on the 4th of November 2022 at 17h00.
The purpose of Mzansi Golden Economy (MEG) is to make strategic investments to optimise the economic benefit of the arts in South Africa and improve investment in key creative economy areas.
The MEG open call is a competitive grant funding program of DSAC , which is provided based on the current needs and emerging challenges of the arts , culture and heritage sector’s and merits of submitted applications.
Support will be provided to projects that will be implemented from April 2023 to March 2024.
Interested creatives are invited to visit eservices to make their applications, DSAC will not accept hand-delivered or emailed applications.
