South Africans are heartbroken to see their legendary actor on their worst downfall. Vusi Thanda one of the actors that is believed to have inspired and entertained many generations on shows broadcasted on national television. This concern from South Africans follows when a video of the legend surfaced on social media of him asking for financial assistance to those who are able to help him during this time.
Vusi is best known to others for the role he played on the well-known comedy show Emzini Wezinsizwa that broadcasted on SABC 1 for many years till date. His humor and famous saying “as far as I am concerned” entertained so many South Africans.
Reports claim that the veteran actor has been struggling financially for quite a long time. It is said that, he is also not in good health and because of that he struggles to collect his medication from the clinic because of finances.
In the video the thespian reads out his banking details and pleads with those who are able to help him to assist with the little that they can.

South Africans commented under the video including a few celebrities who shared their sentiments on the video.
“This is so heartbreaking… artists who have inspired and entertained us for many years are now on their knees asking for help. Please let’s help…” says South African actor, Pearl Thusi.
“This is sad for our actors and actresses can suffer after so many years in the arts sphere, entertaining us while under paid and end up begging. We must contribute and the department which wanted to build expensive statue must instead share that money among struggling artists” tweeted user, Nkosana wakwa Ndaba.
