Umzimvubu Municipality Fuels Farmer Prosperity with Maize Project

ANIMEDS, together with AgriSETA and the Alfred Nzo District Municipality, will host the Emerging Farmers Information Day & Business Summit on 31 October 2025 at the Alfred Nzo District Municipality Conference Center. The summit aims to equip new farmers with market access, funding opportunities, and vital agribusiness skills.

What Happened?

Organizers confirmed that registration will open at 08:00, and the program will begin at 09:30. They expect a strong turnout from emerging farmers, agripreneurs, and agricultural experts.

The event will focus on business growth, partnership building, and innovation in the farming sector. Moreover, the District plans to use the platform to strengthen food security initiatives and local economic development.
