On 19 October 2025, the Elundini Local Municipality hosted an IDP Consultation Outreach in Nqanqarhu. The meeting brought together residents from Wards 3, 4, 5, and 17. They outlined completed work and shared plans for the next financial year.
What Happened
The consultation focused on reviewing the 2023/2024 municipal achievements and assessing ongoing and proposed projects for 2025/2026. Community members were updated on completed infrastructure projects and service delivery progress. They also discussed key issues such as water, sanitation, and road maintenance. The session formed part of Elundini’s annual IDP review, aimed at aligning development plans with community needs.
