On 22 October 2025, the Elundini Local Municipality held Integrated Development Plan (IDP) consultation sessions in Tlokoeng for Wards 12, 13, and 14. The sessions formed part of a broader review of community needs and development priorities for the 2025/2026 financial year.
What Happened
The outreach aimed to review existing community priorities and identify new service delivery needs. Officials presented a report on completed 2023/2024 municipal projects and shared updates on upcoming 2025/2026 plans. Sector departments and the Joe Gqabi District Municipality also participated, emphasizing their completed and planned projects for both 2024/2025 and 2025/2026.

Municipal representatives thanked residents for their active participation. “This engagement helps us align our plans with the real needs of our people,” said one official. They added that the municipality remains committed to transparent planning and collaborative development.
