Nomboleko Noludwe Simayile (32) from Engcobo, Eastern Cape has died. She was arrested for allegedly killing her four children between the age of 2 and 11 with a sledge-hammer. Nomboleko was arrested immediately after she told her father that she killed her children however, the police were still investigating the murder case.
According to the police report Nomboleko was still in police custody. On Sunday afternoon 20th November, Nomboleko told the police that she was not feeling well but did not mention exactly what was wrong with her. The police rushed her to the hospital for further medical attention and later she was confirmed dead, at the moment the cause of her death is still unknown.
Nomboleko has already appeared before the Magistrate at Engcobo Magistrate’s Court, her case was postponed for the 29th of November for a bail application.
The Independent Police Investigative Directorate (IPID) has opened a murder case and to conduct a full investigation for the death of Nomboleko Noludwe Simayile.
