Eastern Cape Health MEC Ntandokazi Capa visited Dora Nginza Hospital in Gqeberha to review operations, strengthen service delivery, and support hospital staff. On 12 November 2025, the MEC Oversight Task Team’s ongoing efforts to ensure hospitals meet patient care standards and deliver quality health services.

The oversight visit brings together senior health officials, including HOD Dr Rolene Wagner, DDG for Clinical Services Dr Nokwe, and Hospital CEO Dr Nxiweni, along with department management, social partners, and key stakeholders. The team conducted a detailed assessment of hospital operations, focusing on key service areas, patient care quality, and ongoing interventions aimed at improving healthcare delivery.
