Sikonkosi Ncamiso (Dj Sk) is young Dj and a producer, who grew up in the Motherwell, Eastern Cape.
He started his Dj career in 2008, where his 1st gig was at “kwaMqwalaseli” a local Tavern in Motherwell. He then continued and broadened his career to being a producer on the year 2013. As he started by being a Dj, the person who drove him and inspired him in becoming a Dj was “Dj Kent”.
He says he used to listen to his mixtapes on “5fm” and that is when he then showed much interest. Dj Clock was also an inspiration in experimenting with music production. In the beginning, he would ask himself a lot of questions like, “how does one create a beat?, how does one make a hit?” he then told himself that he actually knows music and believed in himself that he can do this, in fact he can create his own music and this was back in 2013.
Dj Sikonkosi Ncamiso (Sk) won the deejaying competition 1s and 2s in 2016 he continues to tell us about his journey and experience on the show, he says it was very challenging being on the show, because they would be given a task and prepare for an hour before presenting it on live TV just a moment later. Dj Sk says the only thing that made him pull through was that he had faith in himself and was confident on his deejaying skills.
