DUT to Launch New Student Info System in January 2026

Date:

Durban University of Technology (DUT) has confirmed it will officially launch a new Student Information System (SIS) in January 2026. The system, named PeopleSoft Campus Solutions, is designed to replace existing platforms like ITS and iEnabler with a mobile-friendly, all-in-one platform.

According to the university’s official announcement on 5 January 2025, the upgrade aims to centralise academic and administrative tasks—such as registration, class schedules, and billing—into a single digital hub.

Official Response

In a joint communication from the ICT Services department and DUT’s official social media channels, the institution stated:

“By replacing ITS and iEnabler with this integrated system, we are making it easier for students to access services and manage their academic journey.”

The university has assured students and staff that no immediate action is required. Support will include:

  • Step-by-step user guides
  • Video tutorials and training
  • Dedicated help desks for the transition

Community Impact

The PeopleSoft Campus Solutions platform is expected to:
