DJ SUMBODY HAS DIED

Amapiano Pioneer, Oupa John Sefako famously known as Dj Sumbody sadly passed on during the early hours of Sunday, 20 November 2022.

The musician was allegedly shot alongside his driver. It is believed that the two victims were shot multiple times near their death (this is according to social media reports).

Sefako was known as an entrepreneur, owner of the Ayepyep Lifestyle clubs, Sumsounds Music, and a musician.

A media statement released by Sumsounds Music management confirmed the passing of the artist.

“Artist and Musician Dj Sumbody has died. Details of his untimely death cannot be released but the artist named Oupa John Sefoka allegedly ran into an unfortunate incident that led to his passing in the early hours of Sunday, 20 November”, read the statement.

Artists that personally knew Dj Sumbody as well as his supporters have shown their grievances on social media still in disbelief at the unfortunate news of the musician.

“This is super shocking and heartbreaking to the core… Sumbody looked out for his people never held grudges and was welcoming, funny, a hustler, and a game changer in entertainment and in many people’s lives + he gave good advice… Mfana pitori” Tweeted Lady Zamar.

Details of the funeral and memorial service will be confirmed.
