Alfred Nzo Community Radio issued an announcement announcing the shutting down of the station.
Board members were asked to step down from their positions as the station allegedly suffered great loss under its leadership.
Due to withheld funds by the board members, it was announced that the employees at Alfred Nzo Community radio station could not work, therefore resulting in the station not being able to offer the great service it has been offering supporters and listeners for over 14 years.
As of the past weekend, the station has decided to close its doors.
Proud supporters and listeners of Alfred Nzo Community Radio, which was named after the Fallen hero Alfred Nzo were invited on Sunday, the 16th of October at 10am to hear for themselves the unfortunate events that took place which led to the closing of their beloved station.
Board members were also invited by the public and listeners of Nzo Fm.
