The Department of Education in the Eastern Cape together with Walter Sisulu University will embark on a Recruitment Drive Campaign.
The drive aims to recruit youth between 18 to 35 to help to reduce unemployment in the province and seeks to assist Education Assistants and General School Assistants who are interested in Educational Careers.
The strategy is in line with the department’s vision of attracting young, motivated youth into the teaching profession.
MEC for Education, Fundile Gade, says this opportunity is meant to reduce unemployment in the province.
The requirements are available on the provincial government website and social media pages.
