Bizana locals to harmonise audience with The Music Story

A musical tale presented by Bizana’s very own talented Luthando Madikizela, a young up and coming Opera musician who is currently based in Gauteng, with an opportunity to showcase in his hometown, he wanted to bring the whole show by bringing on board colleagues and future stars that share the love for and are pursuing a career path in music. He complimented the show by bringing the talented Neo Motsatse on the violin – Neo started playing violin at the age of six and is a versatile musician who plays classical fusion mixing classical, popular, gypsy and South African sounds, she has toured nationally and internationally. Her musical prowess has seen her winning music competitions and becoming the two-time winner of the standard bank ovation award at the national arts festival in Makhanda.

The two will invoke emotional melodies set in the winter of 1656. In a city that is wild and replicates summer in winter, it is set to be an afternoon of Opera versus Violin, these two dynamic artists come together to spread the gift of time travel through the sound of music, promising to take you back to where it all began with infusion of present and future.

The artistic duo will harmonise the audience with pieces by Antonio Vivaldi, Franz Schubert, Jules Massenet, Aram Khachaturian, Astor Piazolla, Salvato Cardillo, César Franck, Joe Darion and Mitch Leigh, to mention a few.
