Last week Sunday Alfred Nzo horse racing association held a massive horse racing competition in Bizana. There were various horses from all the region’s towns such as Bizana, Mount Ayliff, Matatiele and Ntabankulu. Also there were various towns came to participate such as Umzimkhulu, Lusikisiki, Flagstaff, Libode.
Alfred Nzo horse racing association chairperson Baxolele Fumba says horse racing sport in Alfred Nzo region is growing very fast and he further appreciates the support from local municipalities and communities who came through to support the race.
“Special thanks to each and everyone who came through especially members of our local municipalities and other sporting codes who came and showed us support” said Fumba
Fumba further says the race went well and spectators where entertained by the race also various amounts were won by the winners.
“We are building towards the big Alfred Nzo festive season horse race competition that is going to take place very soon, dates will be issues as soon as we conclude everything.” said Fumba
