On Saturday women will play open age 50 overs games and Sunday will play T20 games. Khaya Majola club director Monwabisi Joko says these games prepare young women in cricket for the national games that are going to take place in December.
This is one of Cricket South Africa’s Strategies to empower young women in cricket which vows to create equal opportunities for women in sport hence now we going to play such games this coming weekend, – said Joko
Joko further says Eastern Cape cricket talent is growing massively therefore they intends to host couple of games before season ends also they are planning to have couple of seminars.
“Wednesday we had a seminar that was sitting at Savoy Hotel in Mthatha where there were various cricket clubs sharing knowledge and strategies that could be used as a weapon to transform Eastern Cape cricketers” said Joko
