BAWUTI BAGS HERSELF AN ACTING ROLE IN A NEW TELENOVELA

Cyberbullying someone or trolling them is uncalled-for and does not only have devastating effects on a victim. Being bullied on social and told that you are not good enough did not stop Lonalinamandla from auditioning and did not stop her from what she believed she was great at until she got a breakthrough and bagged herself an acting gig on a new Mzansi Magic Telenovela which is set to Premier on the 16th of January 2023.

Umtata-Born upcoming actress Lonalinamdla Bawuti bagged herself an acting role in a new Mzansi Magic telenovela Gqeberha: The Empire which will be replacing The Queen which comes to an end after its seventh season. The upcoming actress took her social media sharing how she tried to talk to Zikhona Sodlaka years back with the hope that she would respond and ask her how she would get to work with her not knowing soon she will be working with her.

“Nothing in this picture, this was me trying to talk to sis Zikhona. Why had I said Yewethu? I don’t know, we actually laughed about it when I showed her. I was hoping she would text back and ask her how I get to work with her and, I didn’t know any better then. I really wanted to work with her. And this year oh Sana lam I’m working with her,” she wrote on Facebook.

She then added that beautiful things happen to those who fumble with no idea what they are doing but eventually figure it out. She remembers when she shared that she has been auditioning since 2015 with no luck and social media bullies told her to stop because she was not good enough.
